The »Ice« knitted hat made of 100 % virgin wool offers pleasant, soft and itch-free comfort. The wool is compacted by fulling and thus becomes rub-resistant and more hard-wearing. The natural water-proofing (lanolin) makes the fabric dirt-repellent,yet breathable. The wool is odourless, warms even when damp and regulates moisture directly on the skin, so that your head does not cool down even when you start sweating while stalking or the first snowflakes and raindrops fall. The special production (fulling process) and the material ensure high durability and optimal insulation.

Mufflon

Founded in Wahlstedt in 1984 by Andrea and Frank Schürmeyer, the company has been producing clothing and accessories made of pure new wool and merino wool under the brand name Mufflon since 1998. The process of fulling is thousands of years old. Mufflon clothes are amongst the very few outdoor products that are fully produced in Germany. The wool used by Schoeller comes from mulesing-free animal husbandry andis certified by bluesign to meet high standards. This certification guarantees the highest possible absence of harmful substances, as well as the highest quality and functionality. Mufflon products are fulled with biodegradable additives only and without any chemicals. A major concern of the company is the environmental compatibility of their products as well as the efficient use of energy and water in their manufacture. For this reason, a considerable amount of the electricity required for production has been generated by the in-house photovoltaic system on the company building since mid-2011.
