Do you have a queasy feeling about making kindling with the hatchet because you are afraid of injuring your fingers?

The »Finger Dran« provides a remedy. The forged and tempered splitting wedge is firmly welded to a base plate, which can be attached to any suitable location with two screws (6-8 mm).
The log to be split is placed vertically on the wedge and struck with a standard hammer.

With a bit of practice, you won't even need to bend down to collect the chips, as you can hold them in your hand while splitting.
The optional safety cap protects against injuries when the tool is not in use.
